Which stock firmware versions can VNISH be installed on ?

ATTENTION: You need to check the stock firmware date. To check the date, open the miner using the IP address in the browser address bar.

Firmware can be installed using the Toolkit 1.7.1 and newer on stock firmware with any date except :

• Antminer L9: FR-1.19(260302-L9)
• Antminer S19k Pro: FR-1.28(251010-S19k Pro)

If you have BITMAIN firmware installed from 2024 year that cant be flashed to vnish and you see the ssh error, you can update the firmware using the stock web update file on a newer date. If you cannot find the stock update file for your model, you need to downgrade the firmware using an SD image.

IMPORTANT: Amlogic control boards (a113d) with firmware from September 2025 and later cannot be flashed using an SD image. You must first unlock the USB port and then downgrade using the SD image.
