If the error chain break error or failed to detect asic chips is displayed in the logs or in the miner itself and the board does not start, then perform the following steps, which may allow you to start a non-working board or allow the miner to continue operating with fewer boards.
- Open the mining section
- Go to advanced settings
- Set the option “minimum number of working chains” – 1
- Disable the option “chain integrity check”
- Enable the option “allow disabling chains without PIC”
- Click save and apply settings
If these settings do not help and the error on the hashboard remains, try replacing the ribbon cable for that hashboard. If replacement does not help, the miner will be able to continue operating with fewer boards.
