Tutorial for downgrading or restoring the factory firmware using the recovery image (amlogic, xilinx, beagle bone, cvitek):
It is important to consider the type of control board, as the flashing methods differ. Amlogic control boards require the use of an OTG adapter and flashing via the Micro-USB port, while boards with an Xilinx or CVITEK processor are flashed via the SD card slot.
- Use a USB flash drive (USB 2.0) or an SD card up to 16GB formatted as FAT32 (it is recommended to use an OTG USB adapter for AMLOGIC control boards).
- Download the firmware for your model and control board type and extract the files from the archive to the root of the flash drive or SD card.
- Connect the SD card or OTG adapter to the miner while it is powered off.
- Turn on the miner’s power and wait for the green LED on the front panel to light up and stay on continuously. This will mean the firmware flashing process has completed successfully. This process takes no more than one minute.
- Power off the miner and remove the SD card or OTG adapter with the flash drive from the control board.
If the version has not changed after flashing, clean the SD slot or USB drive and try using a different media or OTG adapter.
